Seva:
Seva means service, an important part of any spiritual practice. There are many people in the world today doing profound and impactful work, weaving together hearts and eliciting peace. Below are a few yogis, of the very many, whose work I want to share.

The Foundation for Women, www.foundationforwomen.org
Founded and directed by the warm and inspiring Deborah Lindholm, the Foundation’s work to eradicate poverty in the world is important and far-reaching. I teach a mediative yoga class there on Tuesdays at 4 pm, which are open to all and are a good way to hook in to these wonderful people.

Outdoor Outreach, www.outdooroutreach.org
Chris Rutgers is growing a powerful organization dedicated to providing opportunities for at-risk and under-privileged children to gain confidence and self-esteem through participation in outdoor activities.

Creative Visions, www.creativevisions.org
Creative Visions is a media organization that seeks to enable individuals to think globally and to act locally, or not so locally, to unite in making positive change for the planet and Her people. Through the creative efforts of Kathy Eldon, and daughter Amy, Creative Visions has inspired people of all ages with television documentaries, journals, books and movie projects.

The Invisible Children, www.invisiblechildren.com
In Uganda, children as young as 8 are methodically kidnapped from their homes by a rebel group. The abducted children are then turned into vicious fighters. Some escape and hide in constant fear for their lives. Most remain captive, and grow to maturity with no education other than life “in the bush” and fighting in a guerilla war. The documentary film “Invisible Children," made by three young Americans, highlights these circumstances. The film has created a swelling national movement raising awareness and financial assistance for invisible children everywhere.

More:
I regularly teach a course called The Core Dynamics of Common Problems, which emerged from the brilliance of the Vedas. It is offered as a teleclass - meaning you only need to be on a phone to participate - through The Heart's Inspiration, a very wonderful site filled with great courses, teachers and gifts for sacred spaces. You can learn more about the Core Dynamics or THI’s diverse offerings at www.theheartsinspiration.com

Designer:
The minute I first learned of her I knew she would become a friend and collaborator: fellow yogi, super talented artist, designer, and photographer Lisa Anne Chace designed this website. Thank you, Lisa! Her website, www.lisaannechace.com, is beautiful - and, it has photos of our wedding on its home page.
